1 Hour Warrior Challenge To Benefit Toys For Tots
We have been invited to participate in the One Hour Warrior Challenge to benefit the National Toys for Tots Program. Attached is a brochure to explain about the event and how to register. Since we, as Marines, value our fitness, I am encouraging all parents, family, and friends to sign up and participate. It will only take an hour out of one day and can be any fitness event to include doing an hour walk in the park, an hour riding a bike, running, swimming, lifting weights or a combination of any of them. The purpose is to get folks back into the fitness mindset and to raise additional funds for the Toys for Tots program. You will also receive a nice t-shirt for your participation. So please join us in participating in the One-hour Fitness Challenge.
The One Hour Warrior Challenge presented by Virago Fitness is taking over the nation.
This September, sign up to dedicate a one-hour workout or athletic activity to the Toys for Tots Foundation. The ultimate goal of Toys for Tots is to provide new unopened toys at Christmas to less fortunate children and to promote a sense of hope and inspiration to motivate children for future success. The One Hour Warrior Challenge allows you to become a warrior for these children and contribute to their excitement at Christmas by simply exercising.
How It Works:
Registration opens on September 11, 2017, and ends October 20, 2017. During the week of November 6 through November 12, participants from all over the country will perform a one-hour athletic activity (of any kind) and dedicate it to the Toys for Tots Organization. You get to choose any day during that week, anytime, any distance, and any form of exercise making it much easier to squeeze into your busy schedule. You can complete the challenge by yourself, at a fitness class, with friends and family, or create a team and start a competition!
Registration is $40 and you will receive an OHWC Fitness Tee provided by Grunt Style for your participation.
