Color Guard

We also have a Color Guard team. The Color Guard is reserved for experienced/skilled marchers, but all cadets, including freshmen are invited to train for each position. Practice is held after school on the ROTC drill deck.

Parkview's Marine Corps JROTC Color Guard is an active representation of the unit at public events. Whether it's presenting the American Flag at high school basketball or football games, National Honor Society events, or school board meetings, the MCJROTC Color Guard stands ready to serve its host school. In the community, MCJROTC Color Guards perform at parades, ceremonies, and sporting events. Several Color Guard units have performed at professional sporting events, including Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Football League (NFL), the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), and Major League Soccer (MLS).

During the  Drill camp is help for new drill members and returning drill members. There is no fee for Drill camp. Check the calendar of events for dates, times and more information. Drill team tryouts will be held once school starts, check with GySgt Erwin for dates and times. Drill Team dues are payable at our annual orientation, scheduled Booster Club meetings as well as seeing GySgt Erwin.
